Dr. Justine Rudniski
Veterinarian
Justine graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at Guelph in 2011. She worked on the Southern shore of Lake Simcoe in a mixed animal practice and joined the Mitchell Veterinary Services team in 2012. Although she grew up in Toronto, she has always preferred a rural lifestyle. Justine spent her childhood summers at her grandparents’ farm in Shelburne, which led to her aspiration to become a veterinarian. Her border collie, Vesper, introduced her to the world of dog sports (agility and sheep herding), which then became a deep dive into canine rehab and a love of dog training using positive reinforcement. As a direct result, she has become certified in Canine Rehabilitation and loves to help clients find creative ways to engage their dog physically and mentally.
Justine has always loved cats and currently has a geriatric brown tabby named Ninja. She bottle-raised Ninja from a day of age and never ceases to be amazed by his human tendencies. Justine currently lives in Stratford with her husband and young daughter. When she’s not at the clinic, Justine enjoys growing things to eat, hiking, traveling, Crossfit and training for triathlons.
